That said, we’ve provided two official tutorials to help you install clothing assets into your FiveM server on your own. There are two main installation methods:

• Replace: Replaces existing GTA hairstyles or clothing.
• Add-On: Adds new items to the end of the existing clothing or hairstyle list.

🔄 Replace Method (Override Existing GTA Assets)

The Replace method replaces default GTA V assets (e.g., hairstyles or clothing) with custom ones. This is ideal if you want to swap out existing clothes without increasing the number of items.

➕ Add-On Method (Add New Slots)

The Add-On method allows you to add new clothing or hairstyle slots on top of the existing ones. This is perfect for servers that want to keep the default assets while adding more custom items.

📝 Important Notes:

• Make sure you understand your server’s resource structure and how the stream folder works.
• Use OpenIV to view original clothing or hair asset IDs.
• Always back up original files before replacing them using the Replace method.
